Maria kloppers childrens home gets a new kitchen from pinnafrica and pinnafrica’s clients.

On Tuesday the 23rd of November the PinnAfrica staff headed into the suburb of Observatory in Gauteng  to the Maria Kloppers Children Home for its annual Christmas away day. This is the fourth year that PinnAfrica has invested it’s time and money into this extremely worthwhile cause.

The Maria Kloppers Home is for children who have been abused, abandoned and neglected, as well as for children’s whose lives have been devastated by AIDS.

PinnAfrica started this initiative four years ago with the purpose of making things a little easier for these children. In the past four years PinnAfrica has refurbished their hall, the swimming pool area, provided tables and chairs as well as providing the children with Christmas gifts.

This year we had another goal and that was to put a new kitchen in the baby area, to paint the roofs on the houses, to paint the jungle gyms for the children as well as replace the gutters and insert three new security gates.  

The PinnAfrica team rolled up their sleeves and got to work, with a bit of sunburn, some sore backs and a few aches and pains as well as some helping hands we have achieved our goals and in a small way make life that little bit easier and more bearable for the children and staff of the Maria Kloppers Home…. They deserve it……

We would like to thank you - our clients for assisting due to the fact that the money which we had allocated for Christmas presents for clients has gone into the improvement of the Maria Kloppers Home, so thank you - we do appreciate it, more importantly so do the children and staff of the Maria Kloppers Home!!!
